Great Plains Processing expands operation to South Dakota, US
Great Plains Processing (GPP), an animal feed ingredient producer based in Minnesota, US, has expanded its operations to the US state of South Dakota.
According to The Associated Press, the company has acquired a building and close to 20 acres of land in Yankton. The 40,000 square-foot facility will first employ 20 full-time employees and may double employment in three to five years.
GPP President Quintin Honerman said state and local officials helped make the company's expansion plans seamless.
GPP products are found in feeds for several species including bovine, equine, swine and domesticated pets.
