Lacklustre post-festive demand softens China lysine market
Lysine prices slid further during the week ending October 16.
Corn prices softened lately, helping lysine producers to lower production costs. As demand was weak after early October's long holidays, producers cut prices in attempts to engage buyers.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were lower at RMB4.90-5.40/kg.
Lysine market is set to stay weak in the coming period.
