China methionine prices stay weak amid flat demand
Prices of methionine were unchanged during the week ending May 4.
Sales of methionine were flat as poultry feed demand was slower than expected. Meanwhile, a new producer priced its products low in order to penetrate the market.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine remained in the range of RMB22.30-23/kg.
