China Methionine Weekly: Prices stay weak amid flat demand (week ended May 2, 2017)
China's March methionine import dropped 22% to 13,048 tonnes. However, imports in the first quarter surged 17% compared with a year ago to 49,000 tonnes. In Europe, prices of methionine for Q2 2017 deliveries were stable in the range of EUR2.35-2.50/kg.
