China methionine prices stable under subdued demand
Prices of methionine stayed stable during the week ending March 20.
Producers of methionine stood firm on prices to sustain profits amid higher production costs.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were unchanged in the range of RMB20-20.50/kg.
Prudent buying mood, resulting from sluggish poultry prices, will limit the upward scope of the market.
