EC to divide 420-million-euro dairy, pork aid among 28 EU member states

UK's pork imports spike 10% in July 2015 as exports drop
Pork imports for the UK had recorded a 10% increase year-on-year at 32,100 tonnes, based on the most recent HMRC trade data. The volume is also the highest since December 2014.

China Live Hog Weekly: Weak demand, lower hog releases decimate pork production (week ended Sep 9, 2015)
Hog prices registered marginal changes in most regions over the week, inching down a nominal 0.06% on average. Major wholesale centres produced 1.36% less pork carcass, totalling 8,187 tonnes, while prices inched up 0.52% to RMB23.25/kg.

Vietnam pork production reaches 2 million tonnes in Q1 2015
According to the General Statistics Office (GSO), Vietnam has about 27.2 million hogs on-farm (up 2.9% year-on-year). Pork production reached two million tonnes in the first half of 2015, up 3.9% year-on-year.
