China Corn: Corn auctions hold down prices (week ended Dec 25, 2020)
As supplies increased due to the state reserves auction, prices of corn stayed soft. Several farmers were reluctant to release newly harvested corn while prices fell below expectations.
With China government planning to hold more corn auctions, prices are set to remain flat in the near term.
