CP inaugurates Southeast Asia's largest poultry complex
CPV Food Co., Ltd, a subsidiary company of C.P Vietnam Corporation, inaugurated last week its CPV Food Complex Project in Binh Phuoc province, according to a press statement. The plant, which is fully integrated, is the largest complex for the breeding and processing of chicken for export in Southeast Asia.
C.P Vietnam welcomed Vietnam Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, the board of leaders of departments, and leaders of Binh Phuoc province for the ribbon cutting. Montri Suwanposri, president of CPV, CPV board of leaders, and over 400 guests, who are partners, customers, and employees of CPV, also participated in the event.
The project has an initial investment capital of US$250 million and a capacity of 100 million broilers per year (after 2023). The plant would provide high-quality chicken meat products to domestic consumers and for exports: Japan (45%), Europe (35%), Asia (10%), and Middle East (10%). The project is expected to bring in returns of US$100 million per year in stage 1 and US$200 million per year in stage 2.

The complex operates under a fully traceable supply chain including: Animal feed, Chicken brood farm, Incubation factory, Broiler farm and Slaughter - Processing factory. Eggs are classified and hatched by automatic in ovo vaccination technology, which C.P. Vietnam is said to be a pioneer in.
