China Live Hog Weekly: Slower-than-expected pork demand holds down China hog prices (week ended Dec 28, 2017)
Demand for pork remained stable in the north due to the cold climates. However, pre-festive sales in the southern parts of China were weaker than expected, prices consolidated lower. Pork prices dipped by 0.32% over the week even though pork carcass prices inched higher by 0.43%.
