Taiwanese referendum rejects banning of imported US pork treated with ractopamine

Taiwan recently held a referendum this month on several issues, including the possible ban on imports of US pork from pigs treated with ractopamine.

The ban on the import of pork treated with ractopamine was rejected by 4.1 million votes against and 3.9 million in favor.
