Ukraine sees 46 million tonnes of grain output for 2012
Ukraine's overall grain production for 2012 has reached 46.2 million tonnes.
In the current year, agrarians of Ukraine produced 46.2 million tonnes of grains, including 15 million tonnes of wheat, declared Ivan Bisyuk, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine,on December 26.
According to him, the present stocks of grains in the Agrarian Fund total 1.8 million tonnes, which is enough to ensure the food security.
Besides, he noted that the Agrarian Fund has sufficient stocks of buckwheat, milk and butter to avoid the price increase for these products.
