Russia's November wheat exports fell by 38%

 

 

In November 2012, Russia exported 978,000 tonnes of wheat, a drop of 38% compared with the previous month and down two times compared in November 2011-12 marketing year.

 

According to data of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, as in the previous month, in November Egypt (357,200 tonnes), Iran (129,200 tonnes) and Turkey (125,900 tonnes) were the main buyers of the Russian grain.

 

During the period of July-November of 2012-13 marketing year (MY) Russia already exported 9.1 million tonnes of wheat on foreign markets, down 29% compared with the same period of the previous MY.

 

According to estimations of analysts of APK-Inform Agency, the export potential of Russian wheat in the season-2012-13 is estimated at 10 million tonnes.
