EWOS appoints Brent Baumbusch as its new group Chief Financial Officer
Brent Baumbusch, who recently served as chief financial officer (CFO) of SPT Group, a Norway-based global technology company delivering software and services to the oil and gas industry, has been appointed as EWOS' new group CFO.
As CFO, Brent was responsible for all financial matters, strategy, performance management, legal matters and information technology (IT). In 2012, Brent led the company through a sale from Altor Fund II to Schlumberger.
"I am very pleased to have Brent on-board as group CFO of EWOS. His broad expertise in finance and strategy and his international experience will be an important asset for EWOS as an independent company, ready for new growth opportunities", says EWOS CEO Einar Wathne.
Prior to SPT and Schlumberger, Brent was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company in London. While at McKinsey, he was a member of the European High Tech and Private Equity Practices. He worked with leading private equity firms across a range of topics including strategic due diligence and portfolio company improvement.
