China Live Hog Weekly: Prudent mood slows price hikes (week ended Dec 21, 2017)
Prices increased at a slower pace. Slaughterhouses turned cautious as the prices of hog have increased substantially of late. Hence, even as pork demand stayed strong amid higher winter consumption and expanding production of cured pork products, hog sales slowed.
