Poland hits back at Ukraine for meat ban
Poland intends to impose a ban on imports of certain Ukrainian goods next month to hit back at Ukraine's year-long ban on Polish meat exports.
Items include Ukrainian honey.
Ukrainian authorities have promised several times to lift the ban, the latest on Nov 30, however, its offer has so far not materialized, despite inspection of Polish facilities by Ukrainian authorities, which did not reveal any violations.
Ukraine insists that Polish meat products do not meet Ukrainian veterinary standards.
