China Methionine Weekly: Slow usages, ample supply soften prices (week ended Dec 17, 2018)
Sales of methionine were tepid as feed consumption was slower than expected. Feed producers were reluctant to place orders for amino acids with inventories ample. Additionally, supplies of methionine were plentiful due to high output, hence exerting further pressure on the market.
