Lysine prices stable as buyers limit buying in China

Lysine prices stable to higher during the week ending December 18.

ne producers held prices firm while supplies were limited and export demand improved. However, feed millers who have stocked ample inventories held back purchases, hence putting a lid on the prices.

Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were at RMB4.90-5.20/kg.

Lysine producers are likely to lift price quotes in the coming week amid dwindling inventories and firm corn costs.
