China pork prices mount for ten weeks
China's wholesale fresh pork price rose by 1.3 percent on-week, with the price increasing for the tenth consecutive week after the National Day holidays.
The Ministry of Commerce also released yesterday edible agricultural product market price index, which stood at 119.14 points in the week from December 10 to December 16, rising by 0.7 percent over last week.
Among 58 key monitored product prices in China,35 of them increased, 8 remained unchanged and 15 dropped, accounting for 60.3 percent, 13.8 percent and 25.9 percent of the total respectively.
