More than 50,000 tonnes of pork, offal exported by Santa Catarina, Brazil, in November 2023

Brazil's Santa Catarina exported 56,800 tonnes of fresh and processed pork and offal in November 2023.

The amount represented a 21.1% increase compared to shipments in October and 12.1% compared to November 2022. Figures were released by the Ministry of Economy and compiled by the Center for Socioeconomics and Agricultural Planning (Epagri/Cepa).

Revenue in November totaled US$127.2 million, an increase of 21.2% compared to the previous month. From January to November, Santa Catarina exported 595,500 tonnes with revenues of US$1.43 billion, representing an 8.6% increase in volume and a 10.6% increase in value compared to exports in the same period last year.
