President of Cargill Meat Solutions to quit
Jody Horner, president of Cargill Meat Solutions, is leaving the company after 30 years working for it.
She will end her presidency with Cargill at the end of the year and begin official duties as president of Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska on Feb. 1, 2015.
Cargill said Horner "felt it was the right time to pursue this opportunity."
Horner would go on to join Cargill's Corporate Strategy and Business Development Group where she managed a variety of merger, acquisitions, strategy and international business development projects, including a long-term project in Bangkok, Thailand.
