Vietnam's THIMACO targets US$60 million in pangasius fish export revenues in 2009
Thien Ma Fisheries Im-export Co. Ltd, THIMACO, is aiming to export US$60 million worth of pangasius fish in 2009, up 20% from a year earlier, the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) said on its website.
VASEP said that the company is building the fifth seafood processing plant to raise its total capacity to 700 tonnes daily.
The company now has 19 fish farms, supplying 70% of its demand.
