Ukraine's poultry population slipped by 5 percent in November

Ukraine's poultry fell by 4.7 percent or 8.976 million heads in November, against October's 181.964 million heads, according to the State Statistics Committee. 

In private farms, the poultry population fell by 8.2 percent or 8.911 million heads, while it slid by 0.1 percent or 0.065 million heads in specialized farms.

However, in comparison with December 1, 2006, Ukraine's poultry population rose by 1 percent or 1.780 million heads.
