Barrel cheese prices fall like never before.

Philadelphia, PA - Cheddar cheese prices declined this week in a record fashion. Barrel markets gave up a total of 53.25 cents - the largest weekly decrease in barrel prices ever recorded. Blocks also finished the week lower, down 17.25 cents. The last time barrel prices were around these levels was in Sep and for blocks, Jul.
