Ukraine lowers dairy, poultry meat prices
Prices of dairy products and poultry meat have been cut in Ukraine after the main producers of these products and trade networks have fulfilled the requirements of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU).
The retail price for dairy products at trade networks of the state was cut on average by 10-15%; for hard cheese-25%, for cooled poultry meat-5%, the AMCU informs.
Reacting to the Committee requirements, such large trade networks as LLC Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine, OJSC ÐТB-Market, LLC PACCO-Holding, LLC ECO, LLC Foodmarket, LLC Auchan Ukraine, LLC Adventis and CJSC Furshet undertook to ensure economically grounded prices for the above mentioned products and to conclude direct contracts with producers for supply of those goods.
