International Feed Industry Federation partners World Organization for Animal Health
Alexandra de Athayde, IFIF Executive Director, says, "I am delighted that IFIF has signed his cooperation agreement with the OIE. They are a critical organization in the feed and food chain, and IFIF looks forward to work closely with the OIE to contribute to improved animal health and productivity, which in the end leads to a positive contribution to public health." Ms de Athayde added, "only by working together with all stakeholders can we continue to ensure feed and food safety, while meeting the demands of 60% more food for 9 billion people by 2050 and to do so sustainably."
The International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF) is made up of national and regional feed associations, feed related organisations, and corporate members from around the globe, representing over 80% of the feed production worldwide. IFIF provides a unified leadership and coordinating role in order to contribute to the sustainable supply of safe, healthy feed and therefore food.
