Ukraine's Privat AgroHolding reaps 400,000-tonne crop

 

 

The Dnipropetrovsk-based company in Ukraine has harvested 352,000 tonnes of crops, the company said, with the yield of late crops at 219.917 tonnes.

 

Soy in fields of Privat AgroHolding farms occupied the area of 10,989 hectares.

 

The companies threshed 20,999 tonnes and average yield made up 19 centners per hectare and 22 centners per hectare in some farms.

 

The company harvested 150,347 tonnes of corn (plan fulfilled for 21%).

 

Gross harvest of early crops in bunker weight made up 131,985 tonnes, including wheat - 91,494 tonnes, barley - 29,849 tonnes and winter rye - 434 tonnes.

 

Privat AgroHolding was established in 2005, the area of agricultural land under processing makes up 150,000 hectares.

 

The agricultural holding involved in plant breeding, seed production and animal husbandry, herd of cattle is about 5,000 heads.
