Russia lifts ban on meat from Brazil
Russia has lifted the ban on industrially manufactured and heat-treated meat and dairy products from Brazil.
Meat and dairy products can be imported from all of Brazil including the states of Mato Grosso do Sul and Parana, where imports had previously been banned due to cases of foot-and- mouth disease.
Meanwhile, Premium Standard Farms No. 320 has been transferred from the list of US pig meat slaughterhouses and packing plants certified for pork deliveries for free sale to the list of facilities certified for pork sent for industrial use, Russian authorities reported.
