Australia to improve dairy farms' environmental management
The New South Wales government of Australia has allocated A$500,000 to better improve the environmental management of dairy farms on the south coast and southern highlands.
The country's Primary Industry Minister Ian Macdonald says the new funding will go towards improving farm environments, such as through fencing, river watering points, planting wind breaks, and tackling erosion problems.
The funding came after the first stage of an environmental programme on eight dairy farms.
