African swine fever discovered in wild boar at Shaanxi, China
According to China's Agriculture Ministry, three dead wild boars were found to be carrying the African swine fever (ASF) disease in Shaanxi, northwest China.
In a statement by China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the provincial forestry bureau submitted nine wild boar samples, with three testing positive for ASF.
The first case of ASF in China was discovered among wild boar in November 2018.
