Norway's seafood export reaches record in November
Norway's seafood exports reached NOK 4 billion (US$646 million) in November, NOK 365 million (US$59 million) higher than the same month last year, according to the Export Council for Fish.
Salmon exports, the main export in the Norwegian seafood industry, reached NOK 1.7 billion (US$275 million) in November, an increase of NOK 238 million (US$38.5 million) over November last year.
Exports to Russia, Norway's largest market for seafood, was down 25 percent, valued at NOK 394 million (US$63.7 million).
The largest increase in November was in the export of seafood to France, Great Britain and Ukraine.
