Carrefour Partner Chinese Health Meat Provider in Providing Pork Products

Carrefour Company, a leader in hypermarkets worldwide, announced in Beijing on December 9 that it would cooperate with SAIC Meat Product Company, a famous health meat provider in Mainland China, in providing pork products.

This marks China's pork products first entrance into the Carrefour Quality System.

Carrefour Quality System is a brand owned by Carrefour Group, which has established 434 sub-systems in the world.

The system also established a series of standards for pork products in Shanghai, which is to provide safe products for consumers.

SAIC Meat Product Company is a modern professional integrated meat products company combining breeding, fattening, processing and marketing together. It has eight breeding farms, a multiplying farm, and a fattening farm for commercial pigs. Its pig processing output hits 400,000 per year.
