China Soymeal: Prices fall prominently (week ended Dec 7, 2020)

Over the week, prices of CBOT January soy futures plummeted 2.4%.

Soymeal prices plunged as supplies were in excess while soy futures market tumbled. Crushers cut production in a bid to ease mounting inventory pressure.

Excess availability of soymeal, in conjunction with softer global soy futures market, will exert pressure on soymeal prices.
