China Hog: Sharp price hikes to eight week highs (week ended Dec 4, 2020)
Rising for the second week, hog prices surged prominently to eight week highs. As the production of cured meat products expanded, demand for hog strengthened, hence pushing prices higher. Additionally, increased pork consumption during winter lent support to the hog market.
