CHS elects six members into Board of Directors

Members of CHS Inc., a leading energy, grains and foods company have elected six agricultural producers to its board of directors.

 

Elected to the CHS Board of Directors for a three-year term was David Bielenberg of Silverton, Ore. He previously served on the board from 2002 until 2006. The re-elected candidates were Don Anthony of Lexington, Neb.; Steve Fritel of Barton, N.D.; David Kayser of Alexandria, S.D.; Mike Mulcahey of Waseca, and Duane Stenzel of Wells.

 

The elections took place on December 4 at the CHS Annual Meeting held in Minneapolis, US.

 

Following the annual meeting, the 17 directors being selected were Michael Toelle, a Browns Valley farmer, to his eighth one-year term as chairman of the board.

 

Other officers elected include Robert Bass of Reedsburg, as first vice chairman; Jerry Hasnedl of St. Hilaire, as secretary-treasurer; Curt Eischens of Minneota; as second vice chairman and Randy Knecht of Houghton, S.D., as assistant secretary-treasurer.
