China Corn: Prices slide on higher supply (week ended Dec 4, 2023)

Higher availability dragged down corn prices over the week, mitigating the increase over the past three weeks.

 

Corn prices averaged RMB2,657/tonne, dipping RMB26/tonne or 1.0% compared with the previous week.

 

With supplies increased due to the recent corn harvest, corn market will be under pressure in the near term.
