Panama slaughters 3% more pigs in first 10 months of 2020

 

 

A total of 457,017 head of pigs in Panama have been slaughtered during the first 10 months of 2020, according to the latest data published by the National Institute of Statistics and Census of Panama.

 

The amount is 3% more than the same period in 2019 when a total of 443,872 head were slaughtered.

 

There is also a 21.4% increase in September compared to the same month last year.
