Kiotechagil announces new distribution agreement in Vietnam

press release

UK-based agriculture to aquaculture specialists KiotechAgil has successfully concluded a new distribution agreement in Vietnam, giving the company an additional market in the region.

The agreement was signed with JJ- Degussa, itself a joint venture between Jebsen and Jebsen and Degussa which was established in 1997.

JJ-Degussa is headquartered in Singapore and has a number of offices in the region in addition to Vietnam.

"This is another important step for KiotechAgil in expanding our presence in this region," said director Mike Rogers. "This is part of our strategy of taking our water sanitisation and anti-bacterial acids products as well as toxin and pellet binders to new markets."

JJ-Degussa is also delighted with the agreement. Regional managing director Harry Kok explained that the company has a wealth of experience in the feed sector supplying the Degussa amino acid range but are now looking to offer our customers additional 'value added' products.

The company sees the KiotechAgil range as part of this process, he added.

KiotechAgil manufactures a range of products for the animal feed, grain and aquaculture industries

Degussa has changed its name to Evonik in late September. Kiotech was renamed KiotechAgil in late October after the company completed its integration of Agil, which was acquired at the end of 2006.
