China lysine prices stabilise as buyers tread prudently

Lysine prices were stable to higher during the week ending December 5.

Spot supplies of lysine remained scarce in China as several producers cut output, hence supporting prices to climb further in some regions.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were at RMB4.90-5.20/kg.

Tight availability will underpin prices of lysine.

RMB1=US$0.1511 (Dec 5)
