Ukraine's Crimea region's grain, leguminous crop yield down

In the current year, the yield of grains and leguminous crops in Ukraine's Crimea region totalled 17.4 centners per hectare (c/ha), as opposed to 32.6 c/ha last year.

According to Valery Kravets, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of the Crimea, the general production of grains totalled nearly 930,000 tonnes.

Besides, V.Kravets reported that as of the reporting date the region already planted winter grain crops throughout the areas of 430,000 hectares, or 89.7% of the plan, winter rapeseed - 11,000 hectares (68.4%).
