Cobb strengthens veterinary team with new appointment

 

Cobb-Vantress, LLC announced last month the appointment of Dr. Montana Oubre as Senior Veterinarian — a strategic move that strengthens Cobb's dedication to bird health, welfare, and customer success.

As a key member of Cobb's Quality Care team, Dr. Oubre will advance veterinary standards and support innovative approaches to poultry health and biosecurity.

"Dr. Oubre brings a future-focused perspective that will help enhance our veterinary capabilities," said Dr. Gene Shepherd, Managing Director of World Quality Assurance and Veterinary Services. "His expertise will help optimise internal processes and ensure our customers continue to receive world-class veterinary support with continued focus on quality and a disease free product."

A Louisiana, US native, Dr. Oubre earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2022. He began his career at dsm-firmenich, specialising in nutrition-based solutions, blood biomarker technology, and gut health.

Dr. Oubre's appointment reflects Cobb's ongoing investment in talent and innovation focused on strengthening customer partnerships and driving long-term success.
