DuPont expects good revenues for FY2007

E.I. duPont de Nemours and Co. said Monday (December 3) it foresees revenue and earnings in its agriculture and nutrition unit to be up more than 10 percent this financial year, positioning the business for solid 2008 financial performance.

In addition to growth in its crop protection and pioneer businesses and majority-owned joint venture Solae, DuPont expects significant growth gains in emerging markets in Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia, the company said.

Earlier, DuPont announced a joint venture with a Chinese biotechnology research firm.
