China completes quarantine protocols for farm product import
Global Times reported on November 30 that China has completed all protocols required for quarantine under the phase one trade deal between China and the United States.
China's customs authority has completed all 37 tasks on time, allowing imports of various farm goods, according to the report, citing Zhao Zenglian, director of the animal and plant quarantine department under China's General Administration of Customs.
The phase one trade completion allowed import of US poultry, barley and pet food to China.
