Thailand researchers test Bluewave's peptide for poultry

Bluewave Marine Ingredients' peptide product - PerfectDigestTM - has been tested by the independent Bangkok Animal Research Centre (BARC) for poultry diets with positive results.

The test included one percent of PerfectDigestTM in the feed fed to 800 birds.

At day 10, feed conversion rate improved nearly two percent and growth improved 3.3 percent. Pellet durability increased four to eight pts and fines were reduced 50 percent, providing valuable benefits to the feed mill.

Bluewave is an integrated producer of refined proteins and oils from marine based raw materials. The company utilises biotechnology and separation process to create nutraceutical ingredients such as Omega3 oils, fish peptides/peptones for feed and food applications.
