Adisseo extends FAMI-QS certification to full range of MicrovitTM portfolio vitamins
Adisseo has just extended FAMI-QS certification to the full range of its vitamins in the Microvit™ portfolio.
By achieving this, Adisseo reinforces its commitment to continuously improve the quality and safety of its products and services.
Obtaining the FAMI-QS certification completes the Microvit guarantee for Adisseo's customers by:
- Ensuring complete and seamless traceability: all the incoming materials, additives or intermediaries (origin, manufacturer, date) used throughout production are recorded
- Reinforcing the safety of all products in the Microvit Portfolio: Adisseo's suppliers are also committed to the FAMI-QS certification
- Guaranteeing product quality: implementation and management of good manufacturing processes based on quality systems
The aim of FAMI-QS (Feed Additives and preMixtures Quality System), finalised in August 2004 by FEFANA (European Federation of Animal Additive Manufacturers), is to meet the product health and safety demands of customers, premixers, feed manufacturers and integrators.
FAMI-QS certifies the use of good manufacturing practices that take into account the ISO 9001 standard, the analysis and control of health risks (HACCP) and traceability control.
The FAMI-QS process and certification anticipates the upcoming European animal feed safety regulations.
