South Korea's Major Feedmill Group tenders for 140,000 tonnes of corn

European traders said Major Feedmill Group of South Korea has issued an international tender to buy up to 140,00 tonnes of corn for livestock feed, Hellenic Shipping News reported.

According to the tender, the corn is required in two consignments of 55,000 tonnes and 70,000 tonnes.

The traders said the purchase is intended for export to South Korea in early 2023.

Major Feedmill Group is looking for offers to buy optional-origin corn, but grain from Russia and Ukraine is excluded from the tender.

The traders also said the second consignment is sought for arrival in South Korea around March 13 of next year.
