GMP+: HACCP e-learning now available in five languages

Press release

GMP+ International is making its e-learning on Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) available to a wider audience. The popular module is now available in five languages and with a volume discount.

The module, part of the GMP+ Academy, was originally exclusively in English but is now also available in Spanish, German, Polish and Dutch.

The GMP+ Feed Safety Assurance (GMP+ FSA) scheme revolves around risk management for feed safety. HACCP are one of its basic principles. In the twenty-minute online training module, participants are introduced to the principles and implications of HACCP in the production of animal feed. Participants receive a certificate.

Since the launch of e-learning in May, it has become clear that the training module meets a need. "The training module was clear and represents good value for money", says participant Rene Kleinjan of ED&F MAN Holding Limited. "The content is effectively tailored to practice. The business cases at the end are particularly valuable, and provide a nice change from boring multiple-choice questions."

To make it easier and more accessible for businesses, there are new options for companies with multiple employees who want to do the training at the same time: Simple buying of vouchers for employees to use; Reduced rate for 25 or more employees; Make the e-learning part of your own Learning Management System (LMS) and get three years' unlimited use.

The introductory price of €20 (~US$23.94; €1 = US$1.20) remains unchanged.

"At GMP+ International, we believe it is important to share knowledge about safe animal feed; e-learning plays an important role in this", says Johan den Hartog, managing director of GMP+ International. "We expect that with wider availability, participation will increase even further, especially in regions where there is less knowledge about HACCP."
