Hope arises for opening of EU market for China's cooked poultry products
China's cooked poultry products have long been denied entry to the EU market, but a solution is in sight by year-end.
The issue seems closer to resolution since regulatory authorities from both China and the EU reached an agreement on the cooked poultry trade on Nov 20.
Markos Kyprianou, commissary of EU Consumer Protection Council said he hoped the issue could be resolved before his visiting China on Jan 1, 2007.
