New managing director appointed for Nutreco Asia

Nutreco announced on November 23 that Noel Kim has been appointed managing director for Nutreco Asia starting in January 2024.  

Prior to joining Nutreco, Kim led the Animal Nutrition Asia Pacific business line for Evonik as its vice president of Asia Pacific and spent 15 years at Cargill with roles in both the United States and Asia where he successfully led several growth-oriented businesses, key strategic transformations, acquisitions and post-merger integrations.

Kim has a degree in biochemistry from the University of California at Berkeley, the United States, and an MBA from the University of Virginia.

In his role, he will be responsible both for the animal nutrition business of Trouw Nutrition and the aquaculture business of Skretting.

Kim will be based in Thailand and report to Therese Log Bergjord, chief executive officer of Skretting, and will remain closely connected to David Blakemore, CEO of Trouw Nutrition.
