Oman to support animal feed prices for six months

Oman Flour Mills Company announced that it has received a letter from Oman's government regarding an initiative to support the stability of animal feed prices.

A statement issued by the company said: "We would like to disclose that Oman Flour mills Company has received a letter from the government on November 21 for the subsidy on the basic raw materials used in the manufacturing of the concentrated animal feed for six months."

The subsidy will be effective from July 1, 2022. "This support aims at stabilising the concentrated animal feed prices in local market," the letter added.

The company will disclose further details along with the financial statements later, it stated.
