DSM receives 'Sustainable Supply Chain Award 2012'

Due to its responsible way of managing its supply chain, Royal DSM has been awarded the 'Sustainable Supply Chain Award 2012'.

The prize was awarded by the VBDO, the Dutch Association of Investors for Sustainable Development. Earlier this month, DSM won three prestigious awards for its integrated and transparent reporting (De Kristal 2012, FD Henri Sijthoff award and Prix-de-Mazars).
The Sustainable Supply Chain Award 2012 was presented to DSM on November 27 in Amstelveen, after DSM was ranked in first place in the Responsible Supply Chain Benchmark 2012 survey carried out by VBDO. The jury selected DSM as the winner because its robust and transparent supplier sustainability programme, its focus on sustainability aspects such as environmental issues throughout the value chain, its on-going dialogue with stakeholders and the way DSM recognises sustainability as one of its business drivers.
